Vision:

This Workshop Outreach Program  provides students with the opportunity to appreciate, and develop their latent artistic talent, enhance their self-esteem, self-confidence, self-discipline, and establish a foundation and interest for more knowledge through education and/training.
 

Mission Statement:

The mission of the Workshop Outreach Program is to empower youth in the diverse communities by providing them with knowledge, training and skills to hone their artistic talents, But what is more important is how this technique is being used with youth. Our youth live in a world driven primarily by digital forms of entertainment and interaction. While these forms of new media offer incredible benefits, we are losing traditional forms of tactile creativity. Modern Batik technique painting reconnects youth with their innate capacities as creators and artists.
